Business owners don't be shocked

Business owners don’t be shocked when someone steals your stuff. We know people steal that’s why we lock our house and cars and put our valuables under lock and key. IP such as trademarks and copyright act as locks to your brand and business, as well as, an active security system. 

Not utilizing trademark and copyrights is like leaving a bag of money in your car’s front seat with the windows down and the car unlocked; then acting surprised that your money was stolen. When you are not utilizing trademarks and copyrights what you have is a security system with no alarm and a camera that doesn’t record. You’re a house with a security sign on the front lawn but no locks on the door. 

So when you hear me say protect your brand that’s what I’m talking about. Put a lock on your brand. We would never leave our car unlocked with the key in the ignition that’s much too tempting to thieves.
